On this day in 1867 the British Provinces of Canada, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Jeff decided to have an orgy and thusly gave birth to Ontario and Quebec. Unfortunately Jeff died during childbirth, and that's how Canada came to be.
Before that, the Canadians like to claim that they burned down Washington during the War of 1812. But we all know that it was only because Andy Jackson was busy kicking redcoat ass in Nawlins. Besides, if CANADIANS burned down the DC in 1812, then what about that whole Canada's birthday thing we celebrate today, huh? Smarty-pants poutine guzzlers!
